History Madis F-Head Conversion for Ford Flathead 6, Then & Now.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Jimmy B, Oct 7, 2010.

  1. While I was in the States a friend I visited had this Ford Flathead 6 with Madis F-head conversion. This is the same engine that was featured in the March 1951 Hot Rod. There were only a few ever made & unfortunately the patterns were used as firewood (no joke) by a storage facility owner.

Well!!! That's pretty cool. You would be the only one no matter where you showed up with that. I hope there are plans for something else besides sitting in a garage some where.

    umm nice ferrari, 330 GT?

the ford head is cool too. I had a ford flathead 6 in my '49 and it ran suprisingly well and had pleny of power stock.

  6. Yeah 330 GT series 1, next to it is a T coupe Hot Rodded in 1947.
