...Norman Rockwell's signature was large and multi-dimensional unlike any single one of the quan***ude of ~others~ who rendered cover art for The Saturday Evening Post.









The issue/cover (in question) was done by a talented artist by the name of Stevan Dohanos

The May 20th 1950 cover was called "Working on the Jalopy"







- Dohanos rendered a lot of Saturday Evening Post Covers, many of which included Automobiles...


...This is one of my Favorite Dohanos Covers En***led "Pete's Double Headers"
((maybe I'm biased with a name like moefuzz?))

I can post up a decent bunch of planes, trains, automobiles, flat tires and Cops from the last ~85~ years of Saturday Evening Post. (it'll take time to sort thru them but I'm sure I can find a few worthy automotive related covers (from the Post))



There might even be a few other car related ones from Stevan Dohanos
