Those repopped magazines that say, "The first 12 issues." Are they REALLY the first 12 issues or do they leave out adverti*****ts, some tech and add things that doesn't belong in them? I really don't care about how collectable they are. I just want the information from them...
Hot rod has the ads exactly like they were, complete with the 2 letter/4 digit phone numbers. Bell Auto Parts was KImball 5728. BTW Why would you put a SBC picture on the cover of a book about 1948?
Most curious.... "Hey Marge! We need a picture of a hotrod to put on the cover of this re-issue!" "Boss, all I have is this 1958 picture..." I don't care, '48-'58 we hafta meet deadline!
