Magnaflux Yoke Question

    Does anyone have any info on making an electromagnetic yoke for magnafluxing cylinder heads. Thanks:)

  2. I'm not certain that you could "make" a yoke to do the job. They usually operate in either ac or dc and at very low amperages. I would suggest, if you're interested in doing this kind of inspection on a regular basis, to invest in an actual MPI yoke. Otherwise, if this is a one-off scenario, pay the money and have a pro do it for you!

    If it is worth doing, it is worth doing right. Like Magnumcharger says, if it is a one-off, have a pro do it.
