Magnito drive ID

Any one know what this is for? It came in a package deal and I was told it was for a Ford FE but not even close if I compared it to the correct pic.

You're right Bruce. Didn't think to ask if 4 or 8 cyl. What about checking the model number off the tag?

 

That has what looks like a Mopar base circle. How many plug wires? If it's 4 then that's an easy one. It if has six then it could be Ford or Mopar the measurement will tell that. If it's 8 then it could be alot of things. Post back and tell us how many plug wires and the size of the base circle. It does look short like a Model A but the base wouldn't seat on the head.

Could it be modified for an angle drive off of the front of the engine? It looks too short for a standard dist. drive. Just a thought.

 

iF ITS A EIGHT , IT COULD BE WHATEVER YOU WANT IT TO BE, THE BASES INTERCHANGE.
i HAVE A BASE FOR A FLATHEAD ETC........
