in his Magoo built Ferrari Vicky.
Family memories provided by one of the Greatest builders.
Condolences to Family, Friends and the entire Hot Rod community.

He was very instrumental to our sport and made a lot of contributions. So sad to loose another one the early Hot Rodders.

X38 just mentioned him the other day in the " . . . is it Traditional?" thread. Had not seen him mentioned in a long time. Funny how that works. He will be remembered.

Sad news. I was thinking about him last week as I read thru some of my magazines from the 1970's. His builds were awesome. R.I.P

Condolences to the Megugorac family on ****s p***ing. Reading and looking at the Rod Action, Street Rodder and Hotrod Mags in the 70's / 80's exposed me to this fellow and his highboys from what I remember. May he rest in peace.

R I P Magoo & condolences to his family. Met **** & wife on a Yellowstone rod run. Hotrod community lost another great one.

  22. I just talked to him a week or two ago because a fellow called looking for a plaque from an old club that **** had ordered the plaques for back in 1985. Wanted to know from him if he was OK with me making a plaque for the guy since the club had long since broken up. Ironically he said he'd have to think about it and get back to the guy. R.I.P ****, you built some great cars and now you'll get to reminisce with lots of your old pals.

  23. I was one of those teenagers that was influenced by Magoo in the 80s and also knew of his involvement in previous decades. Godspeed.

I`m sure many people don`t have a clue who he is. Do a search or read your old Street Rodders. I`m a fan of customs, so his red Merc was the first car that I remember him having along with all the other street rods he has had a hand in.

Magoo and his wife were guests several times when we hosted the Zonie Motors crew on the Fourth of July. While known for the roadsters, his chopped Merc was a cl***ic. A genuine icon in this hobby. Prayers go out to his family.
