Main bearing wear pattern

    Well,it runs excellent and maintains 40 psi oil pressure at a 600 rpm hot idle,and it ran for 30 years before the rebuild....The crank stays put :D
    Bigger fish is the oil leak....Stripped down all the parts and the rear of the block is dry. However,there looks like a small crack in the oil pan where the metal is folder over to form the rear half moon shape to fit the rear main bearing cap....He must have missed that when the seal was replaced......Try to seal it with epoxy....If it doesn't hold,no biggie,the pan would have to come off anyways.
