Yes, please...I'm going to stay subscribed too...in hope that you won't let it wither. If your body building skills are this good I can only imagine the detail you're going to have in the rest of the build.

I needed a diversion from the poupe and scratch built some rear quarters on a Dodge Town Wagon i bought for $50. A old hippie sprayed foam in them to insulate. Not good. Most people would have parted her out......Ray

Your custom Town Panel quarters look good, reminds me of what I did on my '59 Edsel. It's tough when no replacment parts are available.

Ray, you may have started out to build a car and share your ideas, but whats come out of it is one of the best threads I've ever seen here on the HAMB or on any forum I visit!

Keep us updated on the car, after all its not done yet... and on your future builds.

    Congraduations for your excellence!

So i did a little more on the poupe, I stretched the hood at the front 2 1/2" and louvered a couple rows. Now to make it a one piece lift off hood. Ray

  17. That is an understatement, to say the least...

I've got to admit, when I saw the first few posts I thought "no way will this turn out well" and just dismissed it...now I regret not subscribing.

This was really inspiring to read from start to finish...Incredible dedication. You'll never have to worry about seeing another one, that's for sure.

    Beautiful job...

The rear deck lid is louvered on a flat panel with a turret punch and then welded to a frame. Tha hood is done old school by a buddy of mine. Ray

Awesome. No criticisms to levy here. GOOD to see the POUPE on new shoes!!!

(Any thoughts yet RE color, Ray? Sometimes I think those of us who've followed your build thread PUSH you too hard. But, seems like you are up to it!)

Ray, Your coupe is coming along great. Won't be too long and you will be out on the highway in your coupe.
