History Make model and year ID

I know you guys are great at auto ID.
Any idea what these two are?

 

Nash Ambassador on the right.

 

GM on the left. Tail light 46 ish Chevy

Car on the right is a Nash for sure but I think it's actually a 53-54 Rambler Country Club and not an Ambassador. The Ambassador and Statesman have a rounded shape in the rear quarter window opening, where the Rambler is more pointy, like the example above.
