South central Wisconsin g***er lover, traditional hot rod type hoping to get back into this stuff after a long hiatus with work wife kids etc taking up most of the last 15yrs. It was all good, but soon to become better. Will have some more time now to get back to the molten rubber, gas fumes, chemically dried skin, bloodied appendages, red eyes, late nights, etc and all the while trying to explain all this goodnes and the joy it brings, to my wife and two sons. They may not get it but who cares. Won't post much, maybe some parts now and then. My 57 parked 15yrs ago when wed. 2 boys since and ready to parttake once more. Don't like the sitting at shows and stuff, rather drive and turn heads and hear the gears whine. Like bs-ing in garage w/freinds and that more than lawnchairs. My cars are NOT perfect show pieces and never will be. Thats the plan anyway. I do need someone in the area with knowledge of my 303 hydro that will someday make it into the 30 model A. Thanks. Good to be part of a group with others that value real stuff as it was, and as it is, for me.
Welcome aboard! And I understand the 'out of it' for awhile due to life in general. Up until last year the only thing I had done in 20yrs was change a tire. Sad state of affairs considering the last thing I did back then was build a 350 that was puttin out 425hp and wedged it into a 72 Vega. Feel good to be back in it.
