I picked up the other 235 since it was supposed to have low miles which now I am doubting due to it being a little more dirty then I thought it should and has been repainted telling me its been out of the car before getting yanked for a V8. The 235 that is in the 37 now has a rattle in #2 cylinder and developed a main knock when starting hot so somethings not right so it will need to come out and apart,if the new 235 has no noises and runs good it will go in after a little cleaning and a reseal.

As a 16yr old I mounted a 241 hemi on the frame of one of those 50's chrome kitchen chair frames & a milk crate. Fired it up and revd' the piss out of it. Its a wonder it didnt just roll off and roll down the driveway but it stayed there. Parents made me shut it down because it was too loud.

I need to get busy and build one before the white death arrives but right now I am getting my 55 sunliner ready for the trip to Daytona.

  7. I've seen a guy that had his 427 ford on a wooden test stand he made. Wood is plenty strong if you utilize it properly.
