My buddy Kramer picked up this hood for a great price....Only to find out that once mounted on the commercial grill shell it looked pretty bad. It seems the commercial grill shell is wider than the car shell so it pulled the sides of the hood up making a mess of the body line. (and Yes, that is a model A firewall.) So we sliced the hood above the body line and dropped the lower piece. I tacked in a piece of scrap to hold it in place. I cut this piece on the bandsaw and tacked it in place. after it was tacked in it needed to be rounded over just near the grill....it didnt take much with a hammer and dolly. and then rolled it out for inspection We really didnt know what we were doing, but I think it came out pretty good.
