GDays HAMBsters Here's the plan: make a pair of mufflers for the roadster using ss pipe I bought at the s**** yard. I have a V8 with stock exhaust manifolds and plan to connect each to a 4 foot length of 3" stainless. Inside the pipe will be 2" perforated SS tube wrapped in gl*** pack and wire. How quiet will this be? Our law states an exhaust neds to be no louder than 95db. The mufflers will be like long hot dogs. Cheers Steve
Steve I dont think you will get to 95db with that, if you can louver the holes maybe a round rod and bend in a louver might work.
