You have no idea how true that is. :D Her driveway is very long and steep and without brakes she'd never be able to make the turn onto a main road at the bottom and would end up in the ditch ..............like before:eek:

Here is Snyder’s complete listing of all books, see anything else I should pick up while I’m there?

Check-check-check...late '31 owner's manual, of course...consider the "Technically speaking" club books, lots of good info...Dyke's is a pamphlet containing really high density tech info; tuck it into the owner's manual in case you need a number on the road. Find someone selling the repro 1932 service bulletins...essentially Ford's last word on the bangers, and the instructions for when you toss the obsolete crap and move into the Dymaxion Streamline world of 1932 with a B carb and ignition.
I only read this stuff on original Ford paper...reprints make my eyes feel dirty!
The service bulletins and Page are central, but both are layered info arranged by time rather than subjecy. This means you need the index...and you have to read all the entries to uncover specs that changed, like point gap. There isn't really a better manual...someday I'd like to get several of each of those and snip them up and rearrange into a rational order...
There are several good modern manuals on component overhaul if you get into a serious thrash on carb or whatever.
