I'm finally back on it. Feels great to be getting some work done again!

I took an unintentional six-month hiatus on this project. Work, Life, etc. just kind of kicked my *** and I was in a funk. Had no drive or desire to work on the Roadster and there were a couple things that I had done on it, that I was not happy with.
I've fixed a couple of those things and am in the process of fitting patch panels right now.

    Photos:

Picked up a '28/'29 hood. I need to add about 4" length to it for it to work. Should look cool, though.

still need to cut out axle clearance on this side

I had my buddy, Andy Leach (cal1954 on here), fab up these braces to replace the 3/4" square tubing I had used in the trunk area

Sounds similar to how I feel.. I haven't done too much to mine but I'm moving along steadily. I'm also going to use hood sides as well, no top. You're moving along great. Keep at it, man.

Thanks alot, guys! It really is great to be working on this thing again...

Got a little more done last night -- carefully welding in the patch panels.
I had hoped to not have ANY distortion, but the lower front part of the quarter panel patch shrunk a little. Nothing a little hammer/dolly work won't fix.
