Wow, thanks for all of the kind words, everyone!

Ryan posting this on The Jalopy Journal home page sure surprised the heck out of me! ... and it made my day!

That's funny shit right there :D

(the yard is one of many things that needs attention around my house!)

Thanks, Dave! Yep, that's the plan. Drive it the rest of this summer/fall and do paint/body this winter.

Just give me a call if you want to stop by. 402-681-3088
I'll be in the garage each night working on it.

Bought a pair of old aircraft seat belts from Chris a while back.
They seem to fit the car well...

This is one of the first threads I subscribed to on the HAMB. It's also one of my favorites. Awesome to see it get to this stage. Congrats!

Worked on it for quite a while last night.

Bled the brakes again. Adjusted the brake and clutch pedals. Bled the hydraulic throwout bearing again. Installed the rad. support rods (thanks for shortening/re-threading them, Jason!). Clutch now works great - no gear grinding.
Took the carb apart to clean/inspect it. It's a 600 Edelbrock. I bought it used from another HAMB member. There was a little crud inside, the primary jets didn't match, and one of the secondary jets was missing! Luckily I had a spare used carb to rob parts from. Put it back together and it runs great now. Still need to do fine tuning, though.

    Drove it to work today!!
