Technical Mallory advance plate flathead

I'm converting an old style Malloy flat top cap distributor for my 8ba and wondering what the centrifugal advance is supposed to be built in? I have a couple plates, one with a limiter of 28 degrees and another without. Like to have 18 degrees built in, with the 2-4 degrees initial.
