I recently picked up a Mallory double life distributor (YC-343-HP) designed for the Ford FE engines. Having no experience with these units, I wanted to ask how its performance compares to other modern distributors (Pertronix, etc.)? Is this unit worth the time and effort to rebuild and run? Appreciate any help you can post.
