I spent over $1000 on a Mallory dual point. Original Chevy, modified to fit a flathead Ford V8. Completely rebuilt and recurved specifically for the Ford by Bubbas Ignition. A New cap and wires included. . Anybody I have mentioned this to basically said “no way”. I could try to find the receipts, but that’s what they cost. Should I keep it to the end or take a loss?
I sold the car with the flathead, never installed this distributor. I don’t think I’ll be building another car.
But, if you were to build another car, I could sell you an engine, you could use your spiffy new rebuilt distributor, and we'd both be happy [emoji6]
