Hi gang! The last week I started a job rewiring a '55 Pontiac 2 dr. wagon. This has been crossed with a mid seventies Firebird for the subframe , rear end, master cylinder/power booster, 455 / turbo 400 etc. This parts car had a Mallory Hyfire 111 ignition system ( distributor and box ), and the owner would like to keep them. Having done this for more than a week or two, I have to admit that my Spidy senses are tingling on this one! My personal opinion would be to throw this as far as I can and plunk a HEI in it's place and be happy for the next 100,000 miles or so. But to appease the owner I promised I would throw a thread up here and ask this - Does any body still run one of these? Does it work well? Does any body have a wiring schematic for this ****** so I can get a grasp of what I'm doing? Any help or constructive comments would be appreciated. Thanks, Chip Quinn
