Hot Rods Man a Fre manifold

I re drilled my manifold to the 4 bolt pattern!

 

All 4 carbs are now matched. 3 were correct, one was not. Intake is blasted and carbs are all apart ready to start a full rebuild. Then linkage and fuel line. Hopefully will post pics of complete setup soon. Then the stromberg setup will be next up.

Saw this Man A Fre intake recently at a swapmeet.The seller want 2 grand for it.Not sure if that's the going price or too high? Unfortunately I didn't have the money,but he's interested in maybe trading for one of my Weiand WC3D Chrysler manifolds 1 if 75.Not sure if it would be a good trade? View attachment 6704954

Mercules, the intake you should have bought is the early Thickstun up in the truck bed. Rare piece.

 

Was so focused on the Man A Fre I didn't pay that much attention to the Thickstun. Didn" realize it was an early one. I might have to give him a call?

 

I have 4 stacks for mine also and would let the big block one go for 2,000. Plus shipping.
