Thawed out? Houston never had a day below 32*. The only days I didn't ride were rain days. Put about 75 miles on my ride yesturday.

I just can't imagine 0's and below zero. I smell spring around here. Yes, we will still have some cold days but when you get a break every once in awhile that makes it bearable. I am even seeing some buds coming out on my trees. 74 right now.

The windows freeze up here in sunny Calif too but then it gets into the 70/80's during the day - 40 to 50 degree daily temp swings.

It is 2 degrees here. It completely zaps any motivation you thought about having to get anything done, especially outside or in an unheated garage. You people who have always lived where it is warm don't realize how nice you have it.

I agree but that is everybody's choice of where to live. Been in Texas all my life (55yrs) and I still can't stand our wimpy winters.

  18. I thought it was meant to be hot in Texas? 73*F thats only about 22*C, man thats almost too cold to even consider getting out of bed for of a morning!!:p:D

NO !!! Was just north of Tulsa Sunday and it was 62 degrees. Drove home (to StL area), 22 degrees now with a predicted low tonight of 9. Back to winter - oh well, it IS January.

80°F out here in sunny San Fernando valley! But it comes at the cost of Santa Ana winds

I was struggling to put my car cover on this weekend with the wind blowing. I ended up chasing my cover across my driveway. The only thing missing was Benny Hill music.
