Manifold height in a 39 Ford

Was drooling over various manifolds at Vintage Ford in Sacramento and got to thinking about heights under the hood of a stock 39 Ford Tudor. Anyone have some information about low rise vs high rise (Slingshot or PM-7) under the hood? Will a manifold like that work under the hood or can only a regular/super low rise manifold work? Any info someone has would be appreciated.
