Any one ever seen a manifold tunnel ram type adapter like this? I took it to the hamb drags and no one ever saw one before, I found it years ago laying next to a old small block ford offy. 2- 4bbl manifold it fit on it perfect to go from 2- 4's to a single 4 , it looks like it could be used either way, it is steel NOT cast , about 1/2 said it was homemade and 1/2 thought it was factory.

Those welds say home made to me.

  3. Well it could be to go from 2 fours to one or from 1 four to two, depends on what it is mounts on and which end is up I suppose. I would guess it is hime made myself unless I could find some markings of some sort on it.

No idea, but hot rodders have been adapting other parts from ANYTHING from a long time.

show us what the two flange side looks like. Wonder if it's designed to fit an early dual quad intake? if so it would have flanges that would fit the WCFB type four barrels.

Maybe an adapter for racing where the rules varry allowing 2 carbs at some tracks and a single at others. The Edelbrock Slingshot has two different easy to change tops available for one carb to two.
