I had them in my pocket and forgot to give you one when we were talking.

Will you be at Pistons and Paint? I'll be there and probably bring shirts to sell.

Thanks to all those who showed up. We ended up with about 40 cars and about a dozen of them were race cars. It was cool to see the Indy car even though it was in the trailer.

I'm still drying out and will post photos soon.

We tried, but the lighting is what shut us down.

Thats cool, probably not going to make pistons and paint, I Have a cub scout campout with my son that weekend. Still trying to figure out how to come early and leave in time for the campout, its just not looking good now.

That Chapparall was mighty impressive, like you say, even in the trailer--glad he had it on the top rack!
Finally got my Nova dried out, cleaned up, and put away!
Who was that that used to say, "you pays your money and you take your chances!"
W.C Fields or somebody like that.

At least weather could not hinder the Racer Reunion Friday nite. Don't really understand how you got that away from San Antonio but Jill and I will be there as long as you have those. That was an incredible history lesson, good food, and great fellowship. It is a real lesson in humility to share space with such classy folks as Johnny Rutherford, Mr. Blaylock, Ms. Adrian, et al. Just a great vibe.

.....and Saturday was not a total waste--a couple of chicken salad sandwiches and a cherry coke from the soda fountain at Big State Drugs is always worth a drive to I-Town!

hats off to my man....the rain never soured your attitude Bart and it's that spirit that'll keep em coming back for more....MOM's gonna be even better next year with all this pent up energy from this year's show that we didn't get to see come to fruition. From my little rain soaked HQ, I still enjoyed watching the cars come in, met some cool folks and made it home alive to tell about it....good job Bart! your attention to detail is legendary.

This would have been awesome in the tent surrounded by the other cars.

Thanks again to the folks who came out in spite of the rain and lighting.

    Nice umbrella work!

  8. Sometimes I get lucky Bart. I popped that umbrella just in time and made it look like I had done it a hundred times before! LOL
