Just wondering, what you guys running air bags have had the best luck with, I've got digital now but thinking about changing over to manual guages, because mine never has given correct readings.

Uhh, do you know where you're at? The word "DIGITAL" is about accepted as "BILLET" around these parts.

The HAMB is a TRADITIONAL Hot Rod & Custom Car Forum... Sorry if the "trad bags" hurt your feelings.

There is nothing traditional about digital gauges.

don't use digital anything, not because a hate the way they look, but they suck, all electronic gauges(most) work off of resistance, too many problems to happen. Most mechanical gauges aren't exactly right but you get a mechanical link to whatever your watchin'.

I started out with two dual needle gauges....ended up going with an air management system that uses ride height sensors. Now all I do is hit a switch and it goes to where we've programmed it every time.

Rode in a car years ago with digital guages and a cowl vent in the rain. VERY entertaining.

    LMAO ..... good one!:D

  15. You know that's because the pressure in the air spring is constantly changing as it compresses and extends, right?

Use the digital gauges if you want; they'll have a better resolution than the analog. Just be sure that they're hidden since they look really out of place. That said, the analog ones do as well - too modern looking.

the guy at airride told us that there is a 6 pound variance in the reading of the gauges. They are expensive crap.

Haneline has some analog dual pressure gauges. I think they get them from Beede. We could get some and re-screen the dial to match your car, make them look lod, etc. Digital, electrical and mechanical gauges all have a 2% tolerance. Its more about the sender than the gauge.

I have a set of Dakota Digital that I think would look good in a roadster. They are a Oneoff set a are not the standard billet look. They actually look cool and could be center mounted or set at the driver side. I will sell them if anyone is interested.

You can glance at mechanical gauges and know everything is okay, digital gauges you have to read; sometimes a second extra is too much.
