I'm changing over to a manual rack and pinion over the power steering rack in my 50 Ford and was wondering if anyone knows the ratio difference. I've read manual is the way to go.

I set up with a power rack from a 90 Cavalier center steer but after reading about guys using manual racks and how happy they are with them i'm changing to a manual 90 Cavalier rack. I like the idea of a cleaner look over adding pumps and lines. I'm sure the manual must be geared different than a power. Power racks seem to have a quicker steer if i'm right. I guess i'll find out when i put it in but i was just wondering what to expect.
