Trying to convert my manual steering into powersteering. I got me a saginaw box for a 56 but it looks like the column is also different. The powersteering one takes a rag joint and the manual one looks splined in. Anybody ever do this convertion before? Do I have to get rid of the column or is there an extra piece for the pw/s boxes?
    Thanks in advance

I was talking to a guy yesterday at a run. He was showing pics of a 54 Buick. He said a 605 powerbox was a bolt in. Same splines on the pitman arm and the holes in the frame matched. Worth a look.
