Manufacturers of small tires

Looking for some small tires for the front of my anglia... Got a set of 22.5X4.5X15's in the mail today... Race purposes only!!! Dont want to really run on the street.. I already have M/T's that are 26 inches tall and are looking for smaller. Any help???

 

Go to Tire Rack and search for the size tire you want.

Click on 'specifications.'
That'll give you other sizes in that brand and style.

You can get down to 24" diameter easily if you run 14" wheels and I believe some 14" models are as small as 23" diameter.

Smart car tires 145/65/15 ....same size as what you just got. I run these on the front of my bug.

My bug has these tires mounted on a 15 x5.5 wheel. I think smarts used a 15x4 wheel.

 

Pick up a Hot VW magazine. There are normally a couple of folks advertising small 15" tires. Also the Citroen 2CV used a 125/15 and 135/15.

I heard the smart car tires are about the shortest going, my VW buddy just got a set, look (on 15" rim) and they look really short

145/65/15
155/60/15
175/55/15
185/55/15

all smaller than a 135r15 and all readily available from tirerack.com or tires-easy.com . the vw crowd has been on these "smart car" tires for years now. it's rare to see anyone running 135s anymore in that world.

i'm running 145/65s on my bug and 185/55 on my squareback....ken....
