Any help on doing the technique without having HOK additive? I read about using clear/pearl in a bowl and dipping the plastic wrap. Will that work?

i thought in order to get that effect you have to spray one color let it dry then spray your top color and put seran wrap on it and remove the seran wrap and it will give you the marble effect.

have a helper stretch out a piece of plastic wrap, and spray it(the wrap) with another color, reduced or thinned with slooow thinner.

slap it on and peel it off..........a few practice panels will help ya fine tune to the effect you are after.......no need for the hok stuff, unless that is what you want

    Hey,

Back in my van painting dayz, we used restaurant sized Saran wrap. It's available in wider sized rolls, good for doin roofs and hoods in one shot! You'll need a helper, though ,as it gets messy and involved!
After we pulled the "wrap" we overshot the panel with retarder to melt in the "marbelized" finish to the panel oversprayed.

Hey, wow man, everything old is new again!
