The Studebaker was on its drivers side, and ended back up on all fours pointed back twords the starting line. You can see the rash just above the door. The action was obscured from my complete view - did it roll or just end up on the side of the car, with the underside up against the wall and back down on the wheels?
Cool pics..............thou it was overcast it was a great show.......I got 1 hr video, & just missed the 33 Willys Panel on video, crashed into the wall in front of me way too fast.
Those pix were taken by my daughter who tolerates her dad's obsession - ditto for the wife on that. Soon to be 3 yr old grandson was freaked by the noise and that thunder one feels in the chest from the fuel cars. The ear protectors helped. Seemed the track was a bit touchy. The anouncer mentioned the track surface was quite cold which causes traction problems. They shut down early Sat because of the cold surface temps. A few years ago I saw an early Camaro, 8 second car, running in the left lane turn hard right, hit the K concrete barrier; the driver didn't survive.
