I JUST got off the phone with one of my guys. He was frantic and I didn't answer the phone immediately which made him even MORE frantic. His brother in law is sitting on the c**** bank off Zerker Road by Famoso. There was a car full of people that had left the drags, zipped thru the stop sign and ended up in the c**** approx. 40 minutes ago. He tried to get them out of the vehicle, but could not. He said there were several in the vehicle, their iden***ies and the make of the auto is unknown...........PLEASE IF ANY OF YOU HAVE FRIENDS OR FAMILY ATTENDING THE EVENT, MAKE CONTACT. I have contacted friends here and they are contacting their friends as well......just checking in and counting heads. The Police and Search and Rescue were called immediately, but due to the distance and severity of the accident............. Please just touch base.
Left the track about 6:30, saw a whole bunch of emergency vehicles ripping down the freeway. Zip on the local Bakersfield news yet.
Word is: There were TWO vehicles in the c****, both late models............ An suv of some sorts and a gold colored PT Cruiser. I do not know if they were rental vehicles or personal vehicles. The two occupants of the SUV died at the scene and the occupants of the PT Cruiser have been air lifted to the nearest trauma center.

I saw the couple who stopped to help walking around Famoso Saturday. That was really cool of them to try to get the two out of the Suburban.
