post some pictures of your vintage boat timing covers. how much did you guys pay for them im trying to find one for an fe engine trying to figure out what a good price would be
I have a "Nicson" for an early hemi. Unfortunately, it's in Minnesota and I'm in Florida for the winter, so no pictures. It does look a lot like the one pictured. One of the "legs" was broken off at one time, but repaired; it looks like a good job. It didn't matter much to me, as I was going to remove the "legs" and trim it down for use on my race car. I think I paid $175 about 12 or 13 years ago. I think I'm going to sell it now as is, because I got an aluminum cover from "Hot Heads" and someone might need it for a vintage hydroplane.
First you have to find one- kinda scarce. I have a couple Nicson fronts and a complete Glenwood setup with the bell and manifolds, but took some scrounging. In addition to using the legs for mounts, the drive flange can run your injection pump instead of the water pump
