Howdy all you Hokey *** motor heads out there running on ether. I am working on scale drawings of the 1911 Indy winning Marmon Wasp engine and find myself in need of some details. I have a pretty good start in CAD but can't find any photos of at least two of the most critical parts. First the bottom of the crank case, what would be the oil pan in today's parlance, the bottom of the external oil pump, and the Cone Clutch layout and details of each. I have some good pics of the cylinder blocks form a former rebuild and great photo reference of the upper aspects of the engine. Since someone recently put a rod through the crank case I expect there is a golden opportunity for build photos. Anyone out there have these details? My layouts are further along than the pic below with magneto and rear motor mount.[IMG] Greatly Appreciate any help. JH

Try the Indianapolis motor speedway museum? Corky Coker built a replica of that car awhile back.

That is indeed, a major project to try to replicate.
Are you just trying to duplicate the engine, or the entire car?
Good luck with everything ***ociated with it !
