Here's an earlier thread on maroon. Good stuff! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/what-is-the-best-maroon-color.561363/
Sa Asphalt Angel knows, I love the color of his business coupe. I have had a love affair with maroon since my uncle bought his new 1953 Ford. I have had several maroon cars and have a 53 F100 now that is Ford truck maroon. Actually it is a 1969 Lincoln color code, but my body shop friend calls it truck maroon.
Any info on the sedan Lynn ? It's not El Bombero's is it ? I really like the darker look. Posted using the Full Custom H.A.M.B. App!
I'm from melbourne and that looks like the exhibition buildings, I'll have to keep my eye out for this 39!
My A sedan Called (MR. Maroon)back in the 50's and then sat for years. Until I pulled it out of a barn and rebuilt it in the 70's. I painted it a Ford color Royal Maroon it would look more red in sunlight but got real dark maroon in cloud cover or low light. Sorry but after many years on the road I chopped it and painted it Black (Sorry Bad Photo)
