Sometime someone did a awful straitning up on the drivers side rear after a accident.
No matter how much I do hammering on it I wont get the smallest dots away, any ideas ?

Love the car.Always checking in.The wheels are over the top.If you ever want to sell a set ,let me know.On those small pock marks, I took a spring loaded center punch, blunted the end a bit .works pretty good.Rod

Some of the major metal guys should be able to advise you on this. Steve, Jesse, Brian Bass, there are others...But from what I know, all of those highs and lows can come out with the right hammer/dolly work. Nice car!

    Thank you guys :)
I,ll better try some more hammering later on. Thing is just that the small dots are done with a such a sharp thing so even when I have hammered it flat on the inside there is still
a small dip on the outside.
I dont know but I think its not a good idea to weld it up, maybe better to fill it with bondo.
Hope to get some help here :)

You never know, if I find someone who can help to do the machining work on them . Then hopefully there might be a few sets of wheels done in the future .

With that much stretching in the "small" spots you may have to shrink them out with heat.

Cmon Martin, what's taking so long? I figured youd be driving this thing by now! All jokes aside, you're making awesome progress.

I love the "body lift" setup. That will save yoru back. I made one out of lumber and man, my back thanks me daily, not to mention once I put rollers on it I can wheel that thing all over the place. Not a bad way to do some work.

Incredible!!!! I wish I could see this in person! I guess I need to rearrange my honeymoon from the Caribbean to a European tour.

I was lucky to get the 4500 pounds X-lift for free from a local resurants loading dock, they bought a new one.
Only thing I did was to weld on a bigger table on it. One of the best tools in the shop =)

Europe, hands down. No discussion :D

I am biased, I've lived over there for about 4 years (UK & Germany).

I live in FL, so I can do without the palm trees and tourists.

So, Martin, how ling did it take for you to restore the pirate ship? :D

Restore hell, you know he's shoehorned a pair of ginormous marine engines in there.

Question is, are they vintage PT Packards, or Detroits?:D

i don't know why, but when i read martin's post's, my mind has made up a accent for him. it's not a bad thing, and i don't know how it started. his voice in my head sounds very relaxed almost monotone and a little menacing or ominous like he's maybe capable of world domination. how dare you do so many things so well that you've made my mind wander like it has. anyway, thank's for fixing another milner clone into something beautiful. i mean no disrespect by this post, but the reders should try it as it does add something. great work.
