I am in Glen Arm. That's in northern Baltimore county. Got a 55 Chevy, and a 40 Ford coupe. My daily driver is a lowered 88 Chevy Silverado............
I'm in Frederick. Waiting to get started on my first project, a '50 Buick. I'm amazed at the amount of young people that are into the same cars that I grew up with in the 50's and early 60's, when Olds Spinners and Cadillac Sombreros ruled. Gonna be 58 this year and just getting started on building a rod. Skills are in short supply but I'm not getting any younger so I might as well get going. Would love to see some pics of your rides. Gary
I'm in....my car is somewhat stripped apart but could be put back to a runner in short order. North Beach? Fitysix
Have one up and driving, had to do wheel bearings today. I think the offset of the astro's got to them. So I could cruise, North beach is right by me.
Every Sunday morning, unless it's raining, at Rte 29 and Rte 198...Burtonsville, Md. The turn out isn't as good in the cold but it is surprising how many people show up to shoot the shit in a cold parking lot.
I was there this past sunday. I was early for a change. Only 9 or 10 cars there, but after about a half hour people really started rolling in! Great turn out.
I'm in. I'm trying to get a 47 ford tudor right now. If all goes well It should be in my garage in a couple weeks.
I live about 5 miles from there, I love seeing that car on the street. One day I'll have something to head up there in.
In the warm weather we shoot for 8AM. Cold weather may push that back some. I think you have to be early in the cold weather to get a table in Dunkin Donuts but there will be die hards outside bouncing up and down with both of their gloved hands wraped around a steaming cup of Joe. Everyone is gone by noon. You have the rest of the day for the other less interesting things in life. It's a 45 min. drive for me so I'm not there every Sun. Nothing says you have to drive a rod to walk around and soak up the inspiration. It's a major grapevine connection so you rarely miss a forgotten upcoming event. We could pick a Sunday and if the weather is reasonable there is a good chance that there will be something there to interest you. The 39 Ford gasser comes up from West Virginia from time to time. Weather will be no impediment to Gary!!!
I'm found in the confines of my garage in northern baltimore county. Glyndon area. Where 795 ends. Loudest garage on the block.
I live 5 minutes away from you, right off of Timber Grove Rd. in Owings Mills. If you ever need help with anything, let me know.
I should be at Burtonsville again this Sunday. I'll either be driving my '57 or '60 chevys. Hope to see you guys there.
I'm in Pikesville, just outside the NW corner of Baltimore city. I gotta get out to Burtonsville one of these weekends, after I finish the work on my garage/addition.
I'm in Baltimore city but spent the first 18 years of my life in Burtonsville. I'm tied up this month, but if you guys make a Sunday trip down there in January I'd be up for it. Tommy, do you know Richard Glymph (owner of the t-bird you posted)? I grew up riding dirt bikes with his son Brandon and would like to get in touch with them. Didn't know it was one and the same til I read the article in TRJ on that 'bird. Curt
