Well I am back in M*** from California where I was working for the Great Gambino (man that has a great ring to it). I have been looking for work in a shop doing fab, body work, what ever. I have been out of touch as far as the hot rod and kustom car world in M*** so I don't know what shops are doing what and if any are even hiring. I have experience doing Major body mods like chops, section jobs, metal fab, ch***is work (including ch***is from scratch), body work, paint prep, etc. I guess I am throwing it out there to see what comes back at me. Still looking and flexible on location in M***achusetts or New Hampshire. I love what I do, a team player, hard worker, as well as a go getter. I have a full resume for any one interested.
Thanks for the heads up. I know Lenny. Looking to see what other shops are in the area to see what my options are so I can make the best choice if I have any.
Actually I know Steve well- I gave him his first job when he graduated from Wyotech. Worked for me when we were up in Fitchburg until he quit and decided to go out on his own- Whatever happened to that Studebaker you were working on ? Did the guy ever finish it? I distinctly remember you saying you liked to have money to eat- which wasnt happening - so you and Becky moved to California when she found a job .Thank goodness for Alex these past few years. Im glad you got a chance to cut your teeth in California learning more about the trade. Its a great way to do it. Steve- there arent many shops around here at all-you know that- mostly resto and dont need metal guys because they either do it themselves by staying small or dont do fab work. Too bad too I had a position and sent you both a PM and email- but I hired someone when I didnt hear back (bringing my staff to 6 people now) .I wish you had followed up. Welcome back to M***achusetts

Wow- Bellingham from Gardner- hey Steve -thats a hell of a ride. If you take a job there -definatley move- the gas alone would kill ya! Bellingham is a nice area though- youd like it.
Thanks to all that have responded to me. M*** is my home at heart, but Lennys is right there is not much going on as far as custom work goes as I am quickly finding out. Maybe I can make widgets for a living.
I loved California but it was to damn expensive. Want to start a family and buy a house, was not going to happen in Cali. I did not want to leave but the women triumphed over me. Plus I love to suffer.
yeah- saw something yesterday about San Fran and houses and they were so expensive- cant eleive HERE would be cheaper- YOu gonna stay in in that area?
Hey Steve, welcome back to M***! I spoke with Mike today and he had mentioned this thread, so I figured I would pop in and say hi. I am sure you will do fine work wise, you always seem to make the most out every situation. Looks like you have come a long way since you left, it's amazing the talent you were able to show working where you have for the past couple years! I agree, there isn't really anything around here in M*** that touches the quality of shop you left, but I am sure you will find something...you always do. Widgets work too of course, haha. Give me a call... Keith
Hey Steve: Thanks for letting me know you found a job with a guy in NH-sounds like a good deal for both of you. You always wanted to be up in the woods there anyway. Got some cool stuff to show you at the shop- Good to hear from you- say hi to Becky
