I think this is a 62 Chevy truck m/c and would like to use it as a dual m/c instead of brake and clutch. Would I need to put a residual valve in the clutch side to make this work? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks Jr

If your gonna set it up drum/drum then yes go ahead and stick a factory residual pressure valve in it (copy the brake side. If your disc/drum AND it's mounted beneath teh calipers then add in an aftermarket 2psi RPV plumbed into the clutch side and run that to the fronts.

And Yes it's '62 Chevy truck (well a few years actually but '62 is one of them. Of course I always ask for parts for a '61 (I don't remember the cut off year but I know for certain it was used in '61.

BTW those make a killer "balance bar" set up - for proportioning.
