Hot Rods Master Cylinder Leak

Yes, I'm aware a dual master cylinder is the way to go....BUT....

until I make the conversion, school me: why would a relatively new master cylinder lid leak from around the edges?

It’s too full and may have a dried out gasket.

^^^ Correct...they will find their own level of full. Just like a Model A Ford radiator.
