    ok so i bought a new raplacement master cylinder for my 53 ply. no the question is... if i was to change it later to a firewall mount what happens to my clutch pedal since the linkage comes off the master cylinder?

    here is a pic

    where that big hole is is where the rod goes through and holds the clutch and brake pedals. would i have to fab up some sort of bracket?

    the next question. if i rewire with one of these wiring harnesses would i HAVE to change to 12 volt? i kind of want to leave it 6v. but if i must the i'll upgrade. i'm thinking about doing a custom cluster to update gauges. and if i upgrade to 12 volt i need, alternator, battery and a few solenoids or whatever right? and how do i know what alternator fits? custom brackets again? what if i just take the generator to get rebuilt for 12 volt?

    thanks. =)

    If you upgrade to a firewall mounted cylinder yust leave the old one in place.
    But why cluster up your engine compartment with that anyways?

    No need to change voltage. That hydroswitch is just a switch and don`t cares about 6 or 12 volts.
