We recommend the mid 80's S10/Blazer booster for low vacuum apps. Any 64-80 master can use it, along with later masters too.

Chad, yes my booster etc is on the firewall. The firewall has a large piece of 3/16-1/4 plate welded to the inside to strengthen it. The booster pic that scarebird posted looks the same as mine.

small up-date... Called Master Power 4 times Friday afternoon, its now Wednesday night still no return phone call from their tech line thats so busy you have to leave a message and wait for a call back. At this point I will not buy anything else from them, and I certainly won't recommend them in the future.

  4. I bought a front brake system from them. Customer service ****s. Technical support ****s. Power booster ****s. Master cylinder ****s. Copper washers were to thin to seal. They'll run you around in circles over vacuum.

I had the old (1964) booster rebuilt. Bought a master cylinder from Auto Zone. System works like a champ.

I might buy spindles from them again. Otherwise, Master Power Brakes ****!

Progress update... Got a return call from Master Power VP thursday afternoon, another call on friday to set up a return for the master cylinder that I have now. Their gonna send me another master, I send the bad master cyl. back to them. All I have to pay is the shipping back to them! I guess they're gonna make it right with me yet.
I'll let 'ya know how much better the new master cyl. works.

Ok. Its been quite a while since my problems started with the brake system. I just wanted to let everybody know that the guys at Master Power did come through for me. They sent me a replacement Master Cylinder, I just had to pay for the return shipping. Unfortunatly the problem was still there, until I talked to Rob and Deb (kustomlincolnlady) while myself and the car were at Autorama. Seems that the problem was with the orig. factory set-up. The engineers had installed "overide" levers in case the power booster went out while you were driving. On the advise from Rob I removed all the extra stuff and now just simply have a swing arm that is attached to a push rod. I am still unable to drive the car due to the fact that I need a throttle cable and a shift cable, but I have much more pedal travel and the brakes feel like they will work fine. Master Power brakes don't ****! The engineers at Lincoln thought they had a good idea, but in real life it just did not work.
I will recommend Master Power to anybody that asks.
