Maxton mile this weekend, anyone going

Anyone headed out to the MAXTON MONSTER MILE this weekend to run and watch......
this is one of the last meets of the year.....

BE THERE OR BE SQUARE

this trip im just spectating and dreaming about making a run

Just so folks don't get too confused by the original post, this (May 14-15) is the second of five ECTA meets to be held this year @ Maxton. It is, however, the last year of Maxton as a venue for ECTA Land Speed racing. There will also be meets June 25-26, September 24-25, and October 29-30. vic

 

Planning on going and watching, car not ready.

 

Ok so for those not familiar, where and when is this event taking place.

I've wanted to go for years but have always had something else going on. I'd like to see some pics when it is all said and done.

 

We will be there with our Lakester/Belly Tank, and our friend Steve with his VanBlarcom & Gilmore Roadster

I'm in NC from Minnesota from 6/17 thru 6/27 for some family stuff. I will be at Maxton the 25th and 26th. I would enjoy helping to crew. I'll be racing at Bonneville again in August, and someone from NC is welcome to join us in reciprocity!

June 25th and 26th is another chance to get out to Maxton, come on out ill be there with the rest of the speed junkies!
