May I start the Friday Art Show,it's 12.01.......

Just had to beat Who Daky once. It's just turned Friday in Australia and this is a bog seat I've been working on and finished this week. I still need to work the top side and the actual seat and then poop proof it all with lots and lots of clear.

I missed caffeine's post, but I do believe he was an hour early. This is ultra smooth Harpoon painting the scooby doo van to be Kid Rockers Rolls and Pleats transporter.

Damn now I got two shows to keep up with you kats are killing me....Nice work skippy and harpoons stuff is always impressive...

I was hopping that this would start early this week.Last night I was working on this and my daughters (4 and 6)asked if it was for our house I said no then they asked who it was for I told them I was sellin it then they got togather in the living room and came out and asked me if they had enough money to buy it I told them if they could talk ma into it they could have it. she said no it dont belong in a house

 

I did alot last night but I'll have to get more pics for tommorow

Rob I like the Idea but I dont have too many old pics. Im just now figuring out that I should have taken more. Most of them that Ive taken to put on here just get erased so I can find the new ones

 

Ive done alot of paintin the last couple days I will have more to show from last night tommorow

[/ QUOTE ] The seat part is what I think really bothers her I painted it black with a WIDE White Wall I think it looks cool (as long as noone marks up the white walls ) but that was too much car stuff for in the house (the bathroom is the only room I havent taken over. YET )

 

This is becomming the Thursaday art show.

 

Exactly my point on the OTHER topic. WTF? What about a just-post-when-the-fuck-you-want-and-label-it-"Friday" artpage.

I don't mind posting art at all, but unless I'm in an alcohol-fueled coma, it's Thursday in my world right now.

I just like friday it dont hurt to pretend its friday on thursday kinda like two fridays a week

As mentioned on the other post, the purpose was to have a single post instead of several posts. As long as we have a single post called "The Friday Art Show", it serves its purpose even if it startes on Tuesday.

Look at the "life" of the typical Friday Art Show post - at least 'til Tue/Wed of the following week & running into several pages (all great stuff).

So relax if you can't comprehend the purpose behind the name. It's evolving while serving the same purpose.

Go visit Florida.

Kidding. I like to see art threads whenever. I wish I had 1/2 the talent as some of you guys on the board.

 

I know, I know (with tail 'tween the legs). Got all fired up and confused when I saw the word "Friday", and now I'm despondent that I have to wait 24 hrs til the weekend.

Mass Butcher, I'll take your advice and post my "I'm PMS-ing and don't have any Midol" thread.

But I do feel a little bloated. . . . . .

Can't we just enjoy the art? It got it's name and the name stuck. We all know what's going on when someone posts the topic. That's good enough for me. I suppose you won't watch re-runs of Saturday Night Live on Comedy Central 'cause it's not Saturday and it's not "live".....it's against the rules....

Now that I got that out of my system. Fine work on the ...what was it? - bog - seat.....Aussies are so weird. They talk different and have Fridays too early...rebels, all of 'em....lol.

I won't play favorites, I am going to watch both FRIDAY art shows. I gotta see if I have my first pinstriping attempt in my digi pics for the other post. I don't have any new art to post here...sorry.

 

I usually just call it the "Weekend Art Show", I think....still won't solve the "Thursday" hang-up though.

Ahhh yes...the American is always right. Did you forget that this board is NOT strictly American? There ARE (hard to believe I know) Other people in this world on different timezones...

These are good threads, and shouldn't involve drama. There's no need.Get the hell over it.

ON another note...Mike0 - LOVE the bowling pins...all of the ones you've done have been awesome And that toilet seat...if it's possible to be in love with a toilet seat, that is the one Id love. It's my colors I always thought the bug needed a toilet seat.....
