The ice is melting here in Houston, what there was of it. Some people seem to be taking any excuse they can to stay home from work. That's the worst case of orange peel I have ever seen. BR
That makes me feel a lot better about living in Wisconsin. The snow just brushes right off. Be careful about trying to pull your doors open guys, trying to open an iced-up door can cause some real damage, more than you might realize. I've experienced it many times.
Damn those are rad photos! Sorry if you have to kill your interior to do it but hey thats an artists life!
Dude...hope your interior isn't messed up. Wasn't there a "rods in snow" thread a while back? Now we have "rods on the rocks".... I remember back in '78 when I had my '40 Plymouth and was in the process of joining the Rod Tiques car club here in KC. You had to drive your car to three consecutive monthly meetings in order to join up, and the day before my third meeting it snowed like 10". I was living at my parent's (still in college at the time) and just shovelled off as much snow as I could to make it to the meeting. There were two of us idjits who drove and there's a picture in one of the RT's newletters of us...my coupe with the snow still piled high on the roof looking like it'd have problems getting under a low bridge. I'm glad I'm now in NKC where we've dodged the last two bad storms...I feel bad for my buddies down at the Lake of the Ozarks, though....
what no garages for those fine rides... that hurts looking at the ice... why was the window down ?? do you leave it out in the rain that way? just curious??????????????????
"hope your interior isn't messed up." at the end of the day its just water and will dry.. Its the first time I've rolled up any window in that car in about a year. A guy stoped last weekend and said " I see that car every where and you never have the windows up " All thats in there is a seat and a blanket. hole in the floor to let the water drain
Ice is Melting like crazy here in San Antonio walked all the way out to the shop to go get camera outta tool box and take a few pics of the lil model a pickup covered in ice and dammmmm it if the batteries werent dead ill try again in a lil bit hopefully there will still be some ice left
I'd bet that isn't the first time any of those old cars seen ice or snow!! Cool (no pun intended) pictures though.
Ah, just turn up the seat heaters... Very cool pictures. I once drove 135 miles in freezing rain. It looked like a had spked wheels made of ice when I finally got there. She was worth it too.
Hey, I was told you fellas were wearing T-shirts this time of year!.......Looks like I better bring more then a T-shirt and Speedos.......
This wouldn't happen in California. Here, we park our rusty shit in the garage, and the new cars outside. No, I'm not kidding. ...and it never occurred to me until this very moment.
