    Yay!! I did it guys!

I've posted a few questions about this stuff before, and have been playing with this stuff for a while, but I finally got it pulled enough together last night to fire it up!

I'll get a road test for you guys later when I get it all put back together, just had to post these. It was too late for me last night to do it!!

  2. Had that set up on a 4 spd 59 El Camino in 63/64. Worked great, wish I still had the setup as I now have another 59 Elky. Mine had the wide belt and variable ratio pulley on the blower so as the rpm increased, so did the boost. OH WELL! Dave

Maybe in the 5-7 pound range? Hopefully? I've been told the Kaiser units produced the least amount of boost of the McCulloch range. I have a gauge I haven't hooked up to it yet.

It's an interesting piece, I got it in a box of stuff from the estate sale of a gentleman who ran it on a Studebaker. The front section had been cut off, and the variable-speed pulley replaced with a fixed aluminum jobber.

They make a high out put impeller for those. You should be able to get MUCH more boost out of that. there is a guy that rebuilds them. Joh Erb is his name. give him a call at (775) 883-6494. I have spoken to him and he can build mine to run on my Big Block Mopar no problem. These are normally not good for much over 350 cubes in stock form. They just can't huff enough. He puts the high output impeller and locks out the variable speed option, and puts the later paxton bearings in. he gave me a real fair sounding quote for the full rebuild and upgrade.
