Hot Rods MCF/Kirby/Shadow Rods new hi-rise 2X2 FH intake

I noticed Motor City Flathead/M. Kirby/ Shadow Rods are now selling their version of the hi-rise intake.

Seems like it has some neat features like rifled runners under the carb. base. Does anyone know anything about these?

 

Saw that on eBay. Looks nice. No experience with 'em, obviously.

 

Half tempeted to get one. Not sure about the no heat though with a hi-rise.

 

I dont know anything about it....but these guys spend a lot of time on r/d. I happened to get an inside look at the r/d on the blocks and the bodies several years ago and they are truley p***ionate about getting every detail perfect.
Call them, they love to share thier knowledge. Mark is very approachable and once you get John talking.....well, they are great guys to talk to and fun to hang out with!!

 

Just checked out the MCF intake & heads at Shadowrod's site. Figured I'd bump this and see if anyone has any new input on this intake or heads?
