hey y'all. sean here with my 55 2nt series panel truck. i have not done one of these sense i was a teenager so i will have questions. i started car life with a 55 chevy 3100 truck then when too a 62 vdub, when i got my balls back i redid my 71 nova ss 350 4speed stick. god i loved that car. with my 71 convert. lemans sport i fakes a goat. that was a tight car still not a 3100 though. i also had a 67 ford rancharo and a few cool bikes. the reason for this build is to relive my youth and have a cool work truck. she,,, i call my 3100 a her. will be a daily driver with a load of about 600 lbs of tools in her. she will be bagged with an independent front suspension and a 3 inch c- notch in the back. a LT1 motor and trans will be used with it;s brain. my goal is the body to be stock except the saves handles. there won't be any tags on her and the chrome will only be on the bumpers. she will be black with the original green paint as the trim color. i gave my self a one year time frame and to keep the cost to only parts i can't repair to stay with in the time frame. i am not rich but have set my life up too spend half of what i make to be used on her. if any of y'all use face book i post the progress reports on 55-59 chevy trucks. i will do the same here but the work has already begun. thanks in advance for what advice i will glean from all you all
