I dunno about the sweet part . . . but I was thinking that there was a guy who knew how to look at a car. No camera's dangling from his neck, no hanging a drink cup over the interior, just politeness. Even though we can't see his face, the pic of Big Olds and Roadstar's roadster on a dirt road is the best pic so far. Kinda says, "We ain't afraid to drive these things." And yesterday I was running the roadster in a thunderstorm . . . for a little ways anyway. Now the tires are clean and the car is dirty....
Denise is in the Guiness book. Didnt you guys know? For hugging more men than any woman on the planet. She is one of the sweetest girls I know...you can't help but hug her!

Can you believe that ****??? I spent a long weekend with him, seeing him numerous times everyday, can't count the number of hugs I got, even rode in his '32, yet not one photo was taken of just the two of us together. That will change at the HAMB Drags if I have anything to say about it Also, I heard you are heading to the HRR next weekend. You and I need to find another stripe joint while cruzn in Big Olds and have another shot taken out front cuz I see the one early in this thread disappeared.

C8's my younger brother, but he don't get on here much. I lived in Visalia for quite a while If you hit any of the A&W Saturday night rod runs up to September 2004 you may have met me already. Vivacious, beautiful smile, beautiful person, well spoken and best of all . . . interesting. If hot rodding had cheerleaders, she'd be the leading the squad. Lucky us....

I had a blast driving my '55 Buick down & back to Bowling Green (about 1600 miles, round trip). The drags were great, as were the cars on the field, but meeting Denise was THE high point of, not only my trip, but the summer, too !! She's even nicer in person, that she seems to be on HAMB - no wonder evrybody loves her. I also got to meet Bob K. and a couple of other HAMBers. Can't wait for next year's HRR !!
