Measurements for a 32 Chevy 2 door sedan

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by kan't spell, Sep 1, 2009.

  1. I tried this on one of the social groups but didn't find out and answer.

I recently bought a 32 Chevy 4 door sedan (well most of one) and have been thinking about turning it into a 2 door sedan. What I what to know is the measurements for the length of the door window and 1/4 window on a stock 2 door sedan. This way I can figure out if I have enough material to do it without ending up with a short goofy looking car.

The measurements from a similar year Ford would help too figure out the right proportions.

    Thanks

I've got a 32 2 door sedan all stock. the front window measurement is
30 1/4" and the rear is 30 3/4 , these are the window opening, probley need to add 3/8" to the glass for the runs. hope this helps.

  7. 35mastr, Thanks for the offer.

Scubasteve, That was exactly what I needed to know. If I use whats left of my rear doors to lengthen my quarter windows and front doors each window would end up being 1.5 inches shorted than the stock ones. I'm go to have to think about this.
